NBC Just Can't Do Anything Right

Sci Fi Channel Aims to Shed Geeky Image With New Name - TVWeek - News

NBC continues it's winning streak of making the biggest bonehead decisions in programming history: to wit - their Science Fiction network (the one that features Science Fiction programming) doesn't want to do niche programming like Science Fiction anymore and insead feels that rebranding themselves as SYFY in a creepy 'sorta feels like the re-brand of "womyn" in the 70s did" way will make some difference and somehow shed the geeky image that Science Fiction has. OK.

It's like the Playboy channel saying "well, we're not really into porn so we're going to feature something else".... truly bizarre and a hilarious sideshow!

Oh and on another note, KINGS, their new political drama tanked last night. Did a collective yawn just emit from viewers across the land? I thought so.
